Tom heads to the East Midlands for this weekend’s Donington Park GP BSB triple-header.

The storied track is one of Tom’s favourites, and he is hoping that this and the fact that the big Kawasaki suits the fast, flowing nature of the circuit will help him and the team score some valuable championship points.

Speaking to us earlier in the week, Tom had this to say about the upcoming races. “I’m really looking forward to this weekend. I’ve had a few ups and downs over the last couple of races, so I’ll look to have a consistent weekend at Donington, and move forward with the bike. So far, each race has been like a test, so this weekend I have decided to concentrate on myself.

I’m just going to enjoy riding the bike a bit more; with so much attention on getting the bike right, I have not focused on my riding as much. I’ve probably been putting too much pressure on myself, and haven’t been relaxing when I’m riding. So, with that said, I am determined to have fun out there this weekend.

I’ve got a few things that I need to try on Friday, but with luck, they will set the Bike Devil Racing and me on course for a good weekend.”

The first free practice session gets underway at 3.15 pm this afternoon, with qualifying taking place at 12.15 pm on Saturday. The first race of the weekend is also on Saturday at 4 pm.
